The inaugural Marion County “County-wide” Open House, sponsored by the FAIRMONT BOARD OF REALTORS® and participating Real Estate Offices throughout the county; took place on Sunday, October 15, 2017. By all reports, this first-ever event was a HUGE success!
A total of 22 properties were featured in the open house, with approximately 17 REALTORS® and nearly 100 groups of potential buyers signing in during the event! Mary Stewart, 2017 President of the FAIRMONT BOARD OF REALTORS®, was so pleased with the event saying, "this is something we think is worth repeating!"
Individuals and guests who visited the participating open house locations had the opportunity to speak with a REALTOR and in some cases Lending professionals who could answer questions regarding making an offer or getting their finance process started. Participants also signed the registration sheets that were available at each property and had the opportunity to enter a random drawing, where they could win an Apple iPAD. FBOR Affiliate member, PrimeLending sponsored the iPAD drawing and announced the winner Monday, October 16, 2017, was John Toothman (photo above). Many of the attendees stated during their tours, they were excited for the opportunity to view multiple homes, in one day; without having to work around schedules for an appointment.
