FBOR Home Ownership Fair

  • Homebuyer Fair 2
  • Homebuyer Fair

When it comes to purchasing a home, a buyer usually has many questions: What type of loan will work for them? Do they need a home inspection?  What is title insurance?  On March 17th, the Home Ownership Fair brought all those answers to one place.

Many potential home buyers stopped by the fair to hear seminars on different types of loans, title insurance, credit reporting and student debt. They had the opportunity to speak with home inspectors, lenders, pest inspectors as well as Realtors and ask questions as they visited the many booths on hand.

The event was organized by the Fairmont Board of Realtors in conjunction with Huntington Mortgage, Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority, USDA, and the WV Housing Development Fund.

Luncheon Hosts State Director

Jerry Forren, the new State Director for the WV Real Estate Commission, was invited to speak at the luncheon.
